Do you work with start-up RIA firms?
Yes.
Does Trade-PMR have a retail side competing against their RIA Advisors?
No. Our only line of business is serving the needs of registered investment advisors. We are not interested in competing with your RIA firm to gather client assets, unlike many of our competitors.
I am a registered representative interested in the dually-registered “Hybrid Advisor” model. Does TradePMR have any options to assist me?
Yes. We have one of the most robust Hybrid Advisor programs available in the marketplace today and offer a wide variety of solutions. And, economically, our Hybrid Advisor program is one of the strongest in the industry.
With your Hybrid Advisor program, can I maintain my securities license (i.e. Series 7) and continue to offer commission products/services while operating my own Registered Investment Advisor firm?

Do you provide support to help advisors transition their client accounts?
Yes. We have assisted hundreds of advisors making the move and have the expertise and resources available to help insure your transition is as efficient as possible.
I would like to offer 401(k) advisory services – can you help me?
Yes. We offer one of the most competitive 401(k) services available, including record keeper and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) services if elected.
What options do I have in terms of transaction costs/ticket charges?
We offer RIAs and their clients several options:
  • Pass on the ticket charge to your clients
  • The advisor absorbs the ticket charges
  • Asset-based pricing
I would like to offer my client performance reports but I’ve found some packages are quite expensive – can you help me?
Yes. Trade-PMR offers one of the most economical performance reporting packages in the industry. Our performance reports meet the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) standards.
Can clients access their account online?
Yes.
Do you have access to Separately Managed Account Managers?
Yes.
Are money market fund balances paid the highest yield possible starting with dollar one?
Yes. We do not “tier” our rates based on balances. All clients’ money market balances are paid the highest yield possible.
Are client accounts protected?
TradePMR is a member of SIPC. Through a clearing relationship with Sterne Agee and Leach Inc an additional coverage of $24,500,000 has been obtained with an aggregate limit of $100,000,000.00.
Can you tell me briefly about your trading tool capabilities?
TradePMR offers one of the most robust and powerful trading systems available. Whether you are trading an individual account or a group of accounts, our tools allow you to manage your entire book of business with ease.
Can you provide fee-billing services?
Our fee-billing services are free. Our fee-billing engine can accommodate a wide variety of fee-billing methods. Once fees are deducted from your clients’ accounts, we deposit the collected fees into your RIA Sundry Account.
Can your platform integrate with Customer Relationship Managers (CRM) systems?
Yes.
Do you have a fixed income desk?
Yes. Our fixed income department offers one of the largest fixed income inventories available including structured products and unit investment trusts (UITs).
How can I leverage TradePMR Bank?
TradePMR Bank can offer your personal and business clients a vast array of services including asset-backed loans whereby your clients can obtain a line of credit using their TradePMR Investment Account as collateral. Asset-backed loans are one of the most popular services offered by TradePMR Bank. Banking services are FDIC insured.
I would like to collect fees on accounts not under my direct control (i.e. participant 401(k) account). Is this a possibility?
Yes.
Can I link outside assets like a variable annuity to the clients’ statement?
Yes, if they are network registered.
Do you have an annual conference?
Yes.
Is your trading software web-based?
Yes. You can access our institutional trading platform from anywhere that you have internet access.
Am I assigned to a call center for support and service?
No. Each RIA client is assigned to a dedicated relationship manager.
Do you offer turnkey mutual fund and exchange traded fund (ETF) programs?
Yes.
What is a Separately Managed Account?
A managed account is a portfolio of individual securities managed by an institutional-caliber money manager who typically specializes in a specific investment style.
