Amie Shields

Manager of Business Development AND Transitions

Amie leads the Business Development and Transitions teams at TradePMR. In this capacity, she meets with RIAs that are not currently engaged with TradePMR and helps identify if the provider could be the right fit for their businesses. If these firms could benefit from TradePMR's offering, she then works with a team of Transitions specialists to onboard those RIAs onto the TradePMR platform. Amie has been with TradePMR since 2018, initially joining as a transition consultant before leading the Transitions team and serving as Advisor Services Manager. In these roles, Amie reimagined the transition process for RIAs joining TradePMR, leveraging her past experiences in financial advisor offices.

Amie has dedicated her career to the wealth management industry. She began her career working in her father's financial advisory firm learning every aspect of a firm's day-to-day operations. Upon graduating from college, she worked as a sales associate at some of the biggest wirehouse firms in the nation, earning multiple licenses and eventually becoming an institutional bond trader. Before joining TradePMR, Amie worked as a financial advisor within Wells Fargo's Private Client Group and as a registered investment advisor. She uses the insights she gained in those roles to inform her approach with transitioning RIAs, ensuring she addresses all of their questions and helping to make their move as smooth as possible. She holds both Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.

Amie lives in the heart of horse country in Marion County, Florida, with her husband Mike, where they spend much of their free time caring for their numerous animals and enjoying the perks of lake life.
