From the launch of the Robinhood Advisor Network to Robinhood Cortex for Advisors and new growth economics, here are the biggest takeaways from SYNERGY26.
The energy at SYNERGY26 was palpable from the moment advisors filled the room.
Held against the backdrop of the nation's capital during America's 250th anniversary, this year's conference felt like a defining moment for the independent advice industry.
As TradePMR founder and general manager Robb Baldwin put it in his opening keynote: "At TradePMR by Robinhood, we aren't reacting to the future. We are building it."
Here's a look at the biggest moments and takeaways from SYNERGY26.
Stability First: A Foundation You Can Build On
Before unveiling a slate of new products, Baldwin addressed the question he knew was on many advisors' minds: what does it mean for TradePMR to be part of Robinhood, and what's changing?
His answer was direct. TradePMR has extended its contract with Wells Fargo Clearing1 through 2032, providing long-term stability for the platform advisors rely on every day. There are no plans for a repapering event and no forced account migrations. The platform, the relationships, the service model: None of that is going anywhere.
"Protect what works, then build what comes next," said Steve Quirk, Robinhood’s Chief Brokerage Officer, during a fireside chat with Baldwin.
Unveiling the Robinhood Advisor Network
The Robinhood Advisor Network2 has rolled out to a small group of eligible Robinhood customers, with broad availability coming later this year.
The Robinhood Advisor Network is a native, in-app experience that connects Robinhood investors who are actively seeking guidance with independent advisors on TradePMR. From the client side, the experience starts with a short questionnaire to surface personalized advisor matches based on goals, financial situation, and life stage. Introductory videos let prospects get a genuine feel for an advisor's personality and expertise before booking an initial meeting directly from the app.

For advisors, everything flows through TradePMR’s Fusion platform. A new referral dashboard tracks leads, facilitates meeting confirmation, and streamlines account opening with prospect data from Robinhood, pre-populated to reduce friction.
The Robinhood Advisor Network isn't just a referral program; it's a long-term pipeline designed to connect advisors with next-generation wealth.
Robinhood Cortex for Advisors: AI Built Into Fusion
SYNERGY26 also included the launch of Robinhood Cortex for Advisors3, an AI intelligence layer built directly into the Fusion platform at no additional cost to advisors.
Robinhood Cortex for Advisors includes AI-generated summaries of a client's portfolio, including key holdings, performance drivers, benchmark comparisons, and allocation trends to help advisors walk into any conversation fully prepared. Robinhood Cortex for Advisors can also surface high-impact opportunities like asset location changes and tax-loss harvesting candidates, and it can act on them directly within Fusion.
After client meetings, Robinhood Cortex for Advisors captures key discussion points and generates follow-up tasks.

The goal is to help advisors spend less time on process and more time with clients and prospects. Robinhood Cortex for Advisors is designed to be the foundation of a broader AI ecosystem that will evolve alongside advisors over time.
New Investment Access: IPOs and Private Markets
SYNERGY26 also brought news on the product expansion front. TradePMR is bringing two new investment capabilities to Fusion: Advisor IPO Access4 and Robinhood Ventures5.
Advisor IPO Access gives advisors and their clients the opportunity to invest in companies at their IPO price. It’s the same access Robinhood has offered retail customers across more than 50 IPOs, now extended to the RIA channel.
Robinhood Ventures on Fusion will provide advisors access to future public offerings by Robinhood Ventures funds, giving clients exposure to private markets. The first Robinhood Ventures fund (RVI) went public on the NYSE in March.
New Economics: Capital Access and Better Rates
SYNERGY26 delivered on the business side, too. Baldwin announced two new economic initiatives designed to help advisors grow.
TradePMR by Robinhood is now able to provide forgivable loans6 to advisors on a case-by-case basis for refinancing, working capital, or M&A activity. These are designed to clear the financial friction that often gets in the way of growth initiatives and help advisors act on opportunities in front of them.
TradePMR by Robinhood is also working to lower margin rates6 and securities-backed lending rates to be among the most competitive in the custodial market. For most clients on the platform, this means a reduction from their current rates.
Kate Mapstone, TradePMR by Robinhood’s recently appointed head of RIA Strategy, pointed to Robinhood's own retail experience as evidence of what better economics can do: Since introducing leading margin rates in the retail business, margin balances grew more than 4x in two years.
High-yield cash savings access is also flagged as a top priority coming down the road.
We believe TradePMR by Robinhood offers something no other custodian can: The stability of the nation's fourth-largest bank combined with the innovation velocity of an S&P 500 technology company.
Between the Robinhood Advisor Network, Robinhood Cortex for Advisors, expanded investment access, and new growth economics all announced at SYNERGY26, the platform is building out in ways that could meaningfully change what advisors can deliver to clients.
As Quirk put it in his fireside chat with Baldwin: "Independent advisors have an opportunity to lead the next era of wealth management — if they have the right platform behind them."
SYNERGY26 made the case that TradePMR by Robinhood is that platform.
