TradePMR is now offering RIAs the ability to participate in IPOs on behalf of their clients— bringing institutional-level access to independent advisors on the Fusion platform.
The IPO market is seeing increased activity.
Recent data suggests this summer will feature a notable volume of new public offerings1. Several high-profile companies are preparing to enter the public markets, and both retail and institutional demand is expected to surge.
For independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), that momentum creates both an opportunity and a question: are you able to help your clients participate?
TradePMR by Robinhood has an answer.
We are excited to announce Advisor IPO Access, a new feature in Fusion that allows eligible RIAs to participate in select Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on behalf of their clients. Advisors can access pre-market investment opportunities without the delays or limitations common on traditional custodial platforms.
For decades, access to IPO shares has largely been the domain of wirehouse brokers and institutional asset managers. Independent advisors, despite managing substantial assets and serving sophisticated clients, have largely been locked out of the pre-market process. We’re changing that as part of Robinhood’s mission to democratize finance for all.
Why This Matters for Your Practice
For growth-minded RIAs, standing out requires offering something truly differentiated. Advisor IPO Access could help firms do that.
Clients notice when a high-profile company goes public, many will ask their financial advisor about it. Being able to evaluate the investment opportunity, discuss it with clients, and act on their behalf to participate in the IPO? That’s not an experience that every RIA can offer.
Advisor IPO Access also creates a natural moment of engagement. The conversation around a new public offering is the kind of high-visibility interaction that could help deepen relationships and demonstrate your value as a trusted advisor.
How It Works
Advisor IPO Access is now available in Fusion, eligible advisors will be able to:
-
View upcoming IPO opportunities, including initial filings and prospectus documents, in their dedicated IPO Center within Fusion
-
Submit an Indication of Interest (IOI) and request shares on behalf of clients
-
Confirm client interest during the Conditional Offer to Buy (COB) window ahead of the final pricing and allocation
IPO investments involve significant risk, including high price volatility and the potential for loss of principal. Participation does not guarantee an allocation — clients may receive all, some, or none of the requested shares. Advisors should evaluate each client's investment objectives and risk tolerance before submitting an offer. See full disclosures below.
TradePMR will notify eligible advisors when new IPOs are available. More details on the workflow, eligibility, and getting started will be shared directly with advisors ahead of launch.
We believe independent advisors should have access to the tools and capabilities that were once reserved for large institutions.
Advisor IPO Access is the latest example of that commitment.

IPO investments involve significant risks, including but not limited to: high price volatility, limited publicly available financial information, potential for substantial loss of principal, lock-up period restrictions, and the risk that the market price may decline below the offering price. IPO investments may not be suitable for all investors. Advisors should independently evaluate whether any IPO investment is consistent with their fiduciary obligations and each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
